2008 Co-ed Flag Football on the Beach Leagues
Next season starts on Wednesday or Thursday nights on July 9th and 10th!
The Summer seasons of Co-Ed Flag Football on the Beach will start on Wednesday and Thursday nights from 6:30-8pm starting July 9th and 10th! Each night is a separate league. Games are played with two 20 minute halves, alternating guy and girl quarterbacks. Registration offered as a team only! Registration must be made at the Community Center at 710 Pier Ave. in Hermosa Beach prior to the first day of the league. Individuals must contact us to be placed on a team for registration.
Description: 4 on 4 co-ed (2 guys and 2 girls) flag football on the beach. A non-contact passing league for both beginning and experienced players. Teams and individuals (pending roster availability) welcome.
Cost: $250 per team plus $5 per non-HB resident
Min/Max: 8 teams minimum and 20 teams maximum per league. 8 person roster limit
Days/Times: Wednesdays starting July 9th from 6:30-8pm and/or Thursdays starting July 10th from 6:30-8pm
Length: 7 week season plus 2 week playoffs
Location: 10th and The Strand in Hermosa Beach
Online Registration: Online Registration will be available on January 10th at www.hermosabch.org. You must register your team at the Hermosa Beach Community Center, 710 Pier Ave. Online registration is now available via the City web site. Otherwise, contact me for registration information and to RSVP your team for scheduling the first two weeks. There will be no late registrations at the beach. Co-ed Volleyball on the Beach Leagues of 2008
Next season is on Tuesday, July 29th, 2008
Hermosa Beach 4-Person Coed VB League - Tuesdays. Next season will start up again on Tuesday, July 29th, 2008. Games will be north of the Hermosa Beach pier and will be played from 6-8pm. Format is best 2 out of 3 each evening, then playoffs at the end of the session! Registration must be made at the Community Center at 710 Pier Ave. in Hermosa Beach prior to Monday, May 19th. Register early as this league will sell out due to our cap of 40 teams Individuals must contact us to be placed on a team for registration.
Semi-competitive play - all levels of players.
* Must have 2 guys and 2 girls
* Each team must play best out of 3 games to 21 - Win by 2
* Teams must rotate players
* Girl must touch ball at least once, unless accidentally hit over on 1 or 2
* Side change one time - when a team reaches 11 points
Cost: $225 per team plus $5 per non-HB resident
