 Dave Beeman founded Prank Monkey Productions in 2001 here in Hermosa Beach.
Dave Beeman switched gears in early 2003, and moved to Oroville, Washington where he poached fish and played "Chicken" with his car. He's happily married to Sue Phan, and leaves a legacy of socal grace behind! He has recently moved to Chicago, Illinois. Dave and his wife Sue, are picture on the right.
Dave's settled down, and has proudly recounted his missadventures as the kid from California-turned-redneck, in his series... The Further Adventures of Grocery Man! Chris (me) took the torch that Dave passed in February of 2003.
Born and raised here in Southern California, I joined Prank Monkey as a member in fall of 2001. Starting off in a Co-Ed Random Draw Flag Football Tournament that I had heard of from a random email passed along by another friend, I quickly fell in love with sports on the beach and got involved with the football leagues run by Dave.
Today, I not only manage the business that is Prank Monkey, but also passionately try to keep the spirit of the events and even the emails that are sent out, to be that of which Dave started. That spirit has many meanings to everyone, but I believe that Prank Monkey is about bringing adults together in a fun, social, competitive and SAFE atmosphere.
I also run another business, called New Internet Media (NIM) where we specialize in IT Project Management. NIM consults, becomes or manages another company's IT Team. For more information, visit www.nim.net!
I also work with several non-profit organizations as a member of the Board of Directors for both the Emerging Light Foundation - ELF (www.emerginglightfoundation.org) and the Southern California Foundation for Children (SCFC - www.socalfc.org). I teach on weekends as the Youth Director for Journey Covenant Church leading "Youth Journey" (teen ministry - www.youthjourney.org), sharing the Good News and work with kids as a volunteer on a regular basis.

Annamarie (Anna) Piccioni is the Prank Monkey Partner in charge of sponsorship development and event coordination. Anna became involved with Prank Monkey after meeting founder Dave Beeman at Sharkeez her first day in Hermosa, where he proceeded to convince her to hand over $20 as an entry fee to the first organized Prank Monkey Tournament in the southbay. She played, her team won, she was hooked. Piccioni came on board when Mr. Beeman passed the torch in 2003. You will see Anna on the beach managing all of our league and tournament events. Anna lives here in Hermosa Beach. Anna moved to the Southbay in 2002 for a position with TV Guide after graduating from the University of Maryland where she was on the four time National Championship Lacrosse Team. Founder of The Coast Company, a multi-level experiential marketing and media relations firm dedicated to arts, events, and athletics of the coastline culture, Anna combines her talents talents and experience in advertising, public relations, database management, event coordination, photography and graphic design, to create innovative marketing and business strategies for a variety of companies ranging from small local businesses to international corporations.
